A rather beautiful marble sculpture of a Lioness.


This sculpture dates from around the late nineteenth century- early twentieth century and is carved from marble, most likely Carrara.


Believed to be Italian, with indistinct Italian signature to the bottom right corner.


She has acquired a fabulous natural colour from decades of exposure to the weather at some point in her life, with a now scale like finish to the marble. However should you wish to return her to her a polished marble look we do know an expert in this field who can help.

With small imperfections and one sympathetic and historic repair to the front right paw.
