Item Details

A beautiful 18th century giltwood and gesso wall mirror. Having a delicate beaded slip with a moulded oval surround, surmounted by a neoclassical urn with trailing leaves. Retaining the richly patinated water gilding with a good colour and lustre. The original mirror plate with a highly foxed reflection. Rare survivor, English, Circa 1775.
