An early 19th century mahogany Campaign tabletop book stand which lends itself beautifully to also working as a side table next to a chair or sofa. The top with an adjustable top and a concealed bookrest rest. The legs brass capping’s that unscrew for easy transportation. It signed and dated to the back although hard to distinguish the name, dated 1839, however I suspect this is 10 years earlier. Original untouched finish with lovely colour. English, Circa 1830
