n early 20th century terrestrial desktop globe in lovely original condition. Having a brass meridian and with a turned ebonised base. The globe shows railway routes, steamer route distances in sea miles and heights in English feet. It highlights countries of the British Empire in red. made by and labelled "Geographia Ltd, 55 Fleet Street, London, EC4". English, Circa 1930.

For a short period of time 1926 to 1931, the Northern Territory was divided into North Australia and Central Australia at the 20th parallel of South latitude, as seen on this globe.
