A late 18th century tabletop document box in solid mahogany with incredible colour and rich patina. The top lifts up to reveal a compartmented interior which is perfect for A4 envelope folders. Retaining the original lock, key and the wonderful gilt brass 'loop and paterae' handles. Atb. Gillows, English, Circa 1795.
