A superb true pair of Howard & Sons Bridgewater armchairs by Lenygon & Morant newly re-upholstered in our H&S monogrammed ticking with is copied from the original. Having the original sprung seats and backs with down feather cushions, offering the ultimate comfort. Raised on a tapering front legs with the original gilt brass lacquered castors. Wonderful original condition throughout, Stamped "Howard Chairs, 48 Audley St, London" with sequential serial numbers. English, Circa 1955.

The iconic firm of Howard & Sons Ltd was sold to Lenygon & Morant in 1935. They continued to produce Howard & Sons upholstery until 1959 when they ceased trading.
