A superb small Howard & Sons mahogany sofa, having a sprung back and seat with down and feather cushions. The mahogany rail to all 4 sides and fluted carving to the front. The whole raised on 4 tapered fluted legs with the original gilt lacquered brass Howard & Sons stamped castors. Recently re-upholstered in Howard floral ticking. The back leg numbered and stamped to the rail "Howard & Sons Ltd, Berners St". English, Circa 1900.
