Introducing The Peter Chair.  Inspired by 2 beautiful late 18th century English armchairs discovered in 2024.  We have created the exact copy of the chair using traditional methods.


This elegant chair having a beech frame with mortise and tenon joints.  Raised on slender mahogany legs, terminating in fine quality brass castors.  Traditionally upholstered in horsehair with a handmade squab cushion.  The hessian, webbing and calico all hand tacked and sewn.  The gentle slope to the arm along with the deep seat of which is a generous height, makes for a very comfortable chair indeed.


Available with the option of a feather and down seat cushion if you'd prefer.
