‘SCOTT’ XL ART DECO WHITE GLASS SCHOOL HOUSE LIGHT
A good sized school house pendant light fitted with a tall brass gallery which has a dark almost blackened patina.
The opaque quality of the layer glass gives off a wonderful even glow when lit yet is still eye-catching when the light is switched off.
White glass lighting from the early 20th century never dates and looks equally stylish in a period home or a modern setting.
Opaline white glass became very popular during the Art Deco period and was produced in many different shapes and styles. Geometric designs and simple shapes were typical of the Art Deco period. This style was often seen in public buildings such as schools, libraries and offices.
To personalise our white glass lighting we give them individual names. This one has been named ‘SCOTT’.
Wired with 1 metre of black fabric twisted cable. Other colours are available on request.
This light will be wired to order with a new B22 bulb holder and PAT tested prior to dispatch.
Suspension chain and hooked ceiling plate supplied.
