Good quality antique and later sculpture and carvings are very popular in interior design today, not least because they offer the chance to have something individual, different and decorative that you may not find in your friends and family's homes. Often old, they can have a wonderful colour or patina and be very tactile. We are all fascinated in some way with the past and items like these give us a small window into that past and enable us to imagine how people may have decorated their homes then.
