Scandanavian seating remains very popular and you will find here a selection of painted and plainer examples from all periods from Sweden and Denmark. It is the colours that often distinguish the antique pieces from Sweden as well as their distinctive design, which is quite unlike English styles. White pine, ash and beech wood are the materials most often used in Scandanavian furniture, and they also use it in their interior architectur as well, such as on the floors or walls.
