Super quality 4 drawer English oak filing cabinet from first class makers William Angus. Angus were premier league in their day so you can expect paneling to all sides and drawers, solid brass hardware, the use of quality timber and the famous Angus ratchet system to the drawers - a wonderful design from Angus and still working well today around 100 years later… 

William Angus & Co Ltd. designed and manufactured office and household furniture in the late 19th and early 20th century. Exhibiting at the 1922 British Industries Fair on stand C32, their emphasis to the trade buyer was on quality before price.They traded from premises at 44-52 Paul Street, London, EC2 and Angus Mills, Menstrie, Scotland.

This one sits in a rather good condition with lighter day to day use than most. All the brass hardware is present, the drawers with the file stays are working as they should and the cabinet sits firm with a good use of grain and tone. We have ensured the cabinet is clean, neat and ready for placement.

When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, The Isles and for World-wide shipping. 

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item.  If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
