A delightful 19th century Naive School oil on panel depicting a boy leaning on his horse with a dog to the foreground and tor landscape to the background.
The jaunty expression and stance of the boy makes the subject particularly enchanting. The work itself is very well executed with great use of colour throughout. It is housed in a period gilt frame which has some wear to the extremities but remains attractive.
