An outstanding antique Bakhtiar carpet, handwoven circa 1920. The design features a large concentric medallion on a terracotta field and deep indigo border with highlights of pinks and beiges. Finely woven with fabulous wool quality.

This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
