Item Description
This is a fabulous antique Italian lion that was discovered recently in Florence. It is hand made from terracotta with masterful artistry and craftsmenship during the 19th century. This magnificent lion was most certainly created as a garden adorment or as the centerpiece of a fountain. It is exquisite in its artistic quality enhanced by the stunning patina created by the passage of time. It measures about 44 x 38 x 16 cm or approximately 17.3 x 15 x 6.2 inches and it is in lovely antique condition with minor signs of ageing.
