Item Description
Circa 1830.
A lovely quality davenport desk in the beautiful rosewood, this desk has a newly fitted hand dyed tan leather, with shaped edge and gold tooling.
There are 4 drawers down the right hand side and 4 dummy drawers on the left hand side.
The desk top lid lifts to reveal a satinwood lined interior with a further 3 small drawers inside and a plug lock which when pushed in releases a secret hinged stationary drawer on the right hand side.
Stunning turned front supports and a nicely pierced upstand on the top.
Good quality construction and a panelled back.
