A large dairy table recently sourced from a farm in Somerset and lightly restored in my workshop. The top is constructed of 3 pale, wide pine planks, originally a scrubbed top now sealed with a clear wax but still carrying all the marks and patina associated with its use and age. The top is raised on 6 sturdy pitch pine legs which have a light grey paint finish which has been rubbed back to reveal the beautiful grain. Finished all round so it can be used against a wall or in the centre of a room.
I have been in the antiques trade for more than 30 years, having served an apprenticeship in Furniture Restoration with a leading dealer and gained a wealth of experience with them over a 16 year period.
My love of antiques meant I could never leave the trade, so for the last 16 years I have independently served both dealers and the public, focusing on items with great colour and patina which are conserved and restored, alongside selling my own antique pieces.
