Item Description
A charming and delicately executed American School Portrait of Julia Lee, aged 7 years old. Pen, ink and watercolour Indistinctly inscribed "Julia Lee 7 years old" along the lower edge (Heavily faded yet legible) Likely New England, circa 1810-15.
Provenance Purchased from the late Joan Brownstein, Massachusetts and from their has been housed in The Pinkers Collection of Folk Art Kent.
Housed in a period, likely original ebonised frame, age related browning and foxing to the paper ground.
