Item Description

An unusual Georgian mahogany chest of drawers. In very good and original condition, this chest has three long and three short oak lined drawers with the top centre drawer having the unusual feature of a small brushing slide. Standing on Ogee feet and retaining all original handles, escutcheons and working locks, the chest has a very good colour and waxed patina. In the manner of Francis Brodie whose work can be seen in Dumfries House 930mm high, 980mm wide and 540mm deep. English. Circa 1770.
