Item Description
A substantial early 20th century oak refectory table of traditional trestle construction and generous proportions. The long rectangular top is formed from three broad oak planks with cleated ends, raised on a pair of shaped trestle supports with pierced, scrolling profiles. The supports are joined by a substantial central stretcher and terminate in broad sledge feet with carved detailing. At over 2.6 metres long, this is an impressive and highly usable dining or kitchen table, comfortably suited to a large room.

CONDITION
Presented in good antique condition with marks, knocks, splits and scratches commensurate with age and use. There is a little movement or rocking along the long axis as is inherent in the trestle construction, but the table is structurally sound and ready for use.
