Item Description
A fine looking late 18 th century dry scraped Danish Bornholm (a small island of of Denmark)pine long-case clock with gilt highlights The hood with dental frieze and laurel carving to the face with observation panels on a slender body with canted corners and door which on the inside retains its full long service history .standing on a tapered base with gilt swag raised on splayed feet . The colour is the original and the movement in full working order ,eight hours striking every hour
by CC Holm in the year 1785
A decorative piece and not overly tall 78”or 198 cm high 21.5” or 54.5 cm wide 9” or 23 cm deep
