A beautifully painted Sheraton period Georgian satinwood fold over top card table with canted corners in the style of Angelica Kaufman featuring putti , scrolling with central studded ring with flambé torcheres with a floral frieze border and further floral and spiralling foliate vines to the legs .The table with ebony and boxwood line stringing with tulip wood cross banding raised on slender tapering hexagonal legs on cast brass feet with castors The whole in a beautiful country house antique condition with historic restorations extinct worm and signs of use and wear and recent replacement maroon baize playing surface A piece to be admired for its art and practicality Circa 1760-80
