Item Description
A very charming addition for any formal garden or courtyard garden. A mid 20th century fountain piece or water feature in the form of a seated young girl below a Gunnera leaf.
Art Deco in style, she is a lovely subject for the outdoors and is perfect for positioning in a pond or container, perhaps a salvaged antique bath, to help you create that tinkling sound of water that everyone loves to hear. If you didn't want to have it made to work again, you could just display her on a support in the middle of water or just have her sitting in a hedge on a plinth.
The years have been kind to her, providing the ideal weathering you hope to find on such a piece. In very good order with just a few nibbles to the underside of the leaf and a possible shrinkage crack from when it was originally cast to the back of the stem, which is approx 5cm and thinner then a piece of hair.
This item would also make an ideal bird feeder or watering hole for our feathered friends, and is even large enough for them to bathe in.
Dimensions: Approx 56cm high x 35cm wide x 44cm deep
HOW TO PAY: Bank transfer, credit card via an invoice sent to you.
Delivery is not included in the stated price. Please enquire for a quote. Collection is also possible from West Sussex.
