Item Description
An early industrial Dugdills articulated lamp. c.1920
A superb example of an early Dugdills articulated lamp, built in heavy steel with the distinctive geared joints and tubular arms that define the firm’s pre‑war output. The white metal shade shows honest workshop wear, and the mechanical sections retain their original industrial patina, including stamped markings to the wall flange. The arm has excellent movement and reach, with all joints operating smoothly. The lamp can be wall, table or ceiling mounting offering versatility in a multitude of settings.
A classic and highly functional piece of British industrial lighting with strong sculptural presence and authentic age.
Rewired with 2m of black twist flex and BS 3-pin plug.
