Item Description
A French brass desk lamp with vaseline glass shade. c.1910
A charming early 20th‑century French desk lamp with a gracefully curved brass arm and a finely made vaseline glass shade of ruffled, hand‑formed design. The brass retains a warm, mellowed surface with attractive age, and the proportions are elegant and well balanced. The vaseline shade shows excellent colour and clarity, giving a soft, atmospheric glow when lit. Rewired for modern electric use while preserving its original fittings.
Rewired with 2m of black twisted flex and BS 3-pin plug.
