1940s Vintage English Oak 4 Drawer Cabinet

A good looking 1940s English oak 4 drawer sideboard/cabinet. A classic piece of British utilitarian furniture in good order having spent some time in our workshop to refresh the grain and ensure its ready for placing. The lines are simple and work well with its inverted plinth, low back, lightly shaped back plinth and with the 4 drawers slightly proud of the two long cupboards.

Condition is good - We have all the original oak long shaped handles in situ and the piece sits well with some pleasing grain to the cupboard doors and all drawers are running as they should. The top and sides do have a few faint marks but nothing nasty or particularly off putting. We have lightly waxed the cabinet and ensured it's ready to place in the home or commercial space.

When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, The Isles and for World-wide shipping.

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
