Heals of London Half Glazed Walnut Bookcase Cabinet C1930

Lovely and well designed Heal’s of London figured walnut glazed bookcase/cabinet with maker's little badge to the top of the lower right hand door. A great piece from Heal’s which echoes the modernist period of the 1930-40s with its straight lines, effortless well executed design and simplicity.

It's not only a highly attractive piece but also practical, giving you some great storage with those sliding glass doors to the top section and figured walnut doors underneath. Both give you the useful option of adjustable shelves inside. Super quality with brass shelf level runners, matched walnut to the doors and thick shelves.

Condition is good - we of course have day to day sensible historic marks, nothing fresh. No chips or breaks to the glass doors and very little edge chips to the walnut. It sits well and is reassuringly weighty for its size. Expect day to day wear but nothing nasty or particularly off putting. The cabinet has been carefully cleaned and given the once over in our workshop and is ready for placing.

When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, The Isles and for World-wide shipping.
For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
