A great looking pair of 1930s Art Deco bedside cabinets or nightstands if you wish, with a wonderful look and design by William Spriggs and Co London - metal label to the inside of top drawer.
William Spriggs were based in Tottenham Court Road, London; carvers & gilders, cabinet makers, house furnishers, upholsterers, looking glass & picture frame makers, bedstead makers from 1882-1935.

These ooze style and quality - in solid oak with carefully chosen timber to craft a super looking and practical pair. The green Art Deco inspired faux marble handles are in place. The little vented oak bases are just lovely, the shapely edges and plinths are spot on for the era and the overall scale and shape make them perfect for so many spaces.

Condition is good and they have enjoyed a session in our workshop with a gentle repolish to the cabinets. Both drawers and little cupboard doors are closing as they should. We have cleaned the insides of the drawers which are lined to their bases with black felt. Both cabinets have stepped sides as per images likely once fitted to another similar piece of furniture when new. Both ready to place and would work well as a pair of bedside cabinets.

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
