An amazing, very early and incredibly rare grand-scale carved oak Heraldic Lion in Rampant Regardant pose. c.1620 This outstanding and vibrant life-like Lion is poised head thrown back, has a realistically carved flowing mane and delicate coiled tail. The Beasts’ expression is set in wild untamed roar, his polychrome fierce eyes bulging and his paws lunging forward!
