Item Description
A wonderful scale oval marble topped ”Willcox and Gibbs of London” Treadle Base c.1870 repurposed as a side or console table.
The base of the table is created from ornate cast iron. The company Willcox and Gibbs originally designed thes base to hold aloft their sewing machines, making them very desirable domestic and industrial item of the period.
Our table base is wonderfully patinated with layers of flaking off-white paint.
Topped with a large slab of oval Carrara marble - ideal as a console or side table, or as a versatile outdoor dinning table.
