Item Description

Carolean style high back couch or settee c.1930. Carved walnut frame, the arms with scrolling acanthus leaf detail over turned legs and stretchers plus a crisply carved and pierced frieze to the front stretcher and unusual tassel feet. Shaped backrest and sprung seat upholstered in a woven fabric with a pattern of unicorns and fruit, with large brass studs to edges. Excellent condition, frame has been cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Serviceable upholstery.
