Item Description
Art Nouveau or Arts and Crafts carved oak occasional table, dated 1895, the profusely carved top with a central pattern of a square flower head surrounded by various patterns, with a simple chamfered fore-edge and carved frieze, standing on four carved and pierced cruciform legs which taper from top to bottom, where the legs are intersected there are initials and the date 1895, probably a wedding gift, all the legs are profusely carved on all facings, finishing on shaped feet with carved flower heads on both sides.
