Item Description
Circa 1920. French marble top marquetry inlaid walnut commode. The top with a beautiful, faint grey, brown and cream scagliola marble top in perfect condition. With a narrow frieze drawer with neo-classical brass mounts and ring handles above two deep drawers with marquetry inlaid centres and satinwood and ebony inlay over a brass-mounted shaped skirt. The rounded corners with brass neo-classical capitals and brass sabots. The sides of the chest with matching decorative features.
