Item Description

This beautiful little portrait of Flinty the cat was drawn with pastel and signed by Alfred Daniels in March 2007.

We have had this bespoke framed behind glass, with simple ebonised wood and black mount. The size of the picture itself is 28cm by 21cm. Framed it is 41cm by 33cm and with a depth of 3cm.

Daniels has captured Flinty's personality and poise so well. This piece of decorative art is a perfect gift for your favourite cat lover, or treat yourself!

Alfred Daniels was a British artist born in 1924 in East London. Known as Danny he was well known for his pictures of buildings, people and animals - 'the Lowry for Londoners'.

He became a member of the Royal Watercolour Society in 1973 and was known for being critical at exhibitions, but was equally critical of his own work. He died in London in 2015. One of his last assignments was painting 2 pictures at the local dog show in Chiswick.
