Beautiful circa 1840-50s Frenchcotton quilt printed with exuberant bunches of gathered flowers surrounded by very decorative butterflies in bleu de pastel, saffron yellow and green on a madder red ground.The reverse a stylised flowers on meandering branches against a patterned ground.In an antique and as found condition with the butterfly side in good condition.The reverse has damage mainly to its center where there is a historic repair of an applied iron on type coating
