Item Description
Howard and Sons 'Leeds' Sofa.
Circa 1899-1912.
Owned by the last family all the way back to 1920.
This sofa boasts a very deep seat, the cushions being feather and down are very soft and the seat is fully sprung so this adds up to a very comfortable sofa that you literally sink into.
Currently lined with cotton.
Width 195cm x Depth 103cm x Height 86cm, with a seat width of 158cm, seat depth of 68cm and seat height of 50cm.
Price includes recovering in H&S monogram design printed on aged cotton fabric (see the last photos) and restoration to the frame and legs.
The sofa will be traditionally re-upholstered, including a fully rebuilt seat with new springs using only natural and traditional materials throughout.
