Item Description
Early 19th Century Italian burr wood and walnut console table. Having a rectangular stepped, moulded top above a concealed frieze drawer. Supported by thick, elegant scroll ends with unusual inlay of flower heads with a border pattern and figured quarter veneered back. Terminating in brackets with paw feet. The whole raised a thick shapely plinth base.
Super quality, graceful proportions, and with a wonderful colour. Would work in either a classic or contemporary setting.
