This is an antique elbow chair. An English, fruitwood office or desk seat, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1870.
Wonderful open-arm form, ideal throughout the home
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Select fruitwood stocks with fine grain interest and craftsmanship
Rich caramel hues beam beneath a wax polish finish
Prominent top supports enclose the gently chamfered crest rail
Distinctive back rest finished with spheres and faceted motif
