Item Description
An exceptional Victorian Gothic Revival sterling silver chalice by Thomas Pratt & Sons. Hallmarked for London, 1899.
Rising on an oversized scalloped hexafoil base with a faceted knop stem and a hemispherical bowl.
Having a beaded border and engraved floral decoration around the foot. The knop has further chased floral decoration and lozenge.
The underside engraved with an extract of the Lord's Prayer alongside 'Easter 1910 Pratt & Sons London'.
Pratt and Sons were located on Tavistock Street, Strand, London.
Overall in very good condition, there are some marks with use as expected. The hallmarks show rubbing. There is no damage or repairs.
