Molly and Maud's specialise in beautiful, interesting and unusual decorative antiques and art. The business is run by mother and daughter team Karen and Chloe. Karen’s passion for interior design and the arts inspired Chloe from a young age. They travel extensively, acquiring their stock which is displayed in their showroom, online and at fairs around the UK. They regularly ship items worldwide.

In 2013 whilst hunting for premises for their expanding stock, they realised that the orchard behind Karen’s house was a perfect starting point for them, but it already had two resident pet lambs named ‘Molly and Maud’. A new home was quickly found for them in a neighbouring field, a wooden building was then purchased and so began ‘Molly and Maud’s Place’. In 2016 they expanded further by building a new showroom on the premises.

The business is based in the village of Kirk Hammerton in North Yorkshire, midway between York and Harrogate just four miles from the A1 (M).

Visitors to the showroom are very welcome,  by appointment.
