Lovely very short drop 6 armed heavy brass Dutch style chandelier, circa 1900. Previously drilled for electricity in the 1920s and rewired in our workshop.
This type of chandelier is a derivative of the original Dutch brass chandeliers that used to be carried on poles in the 16th /17th century when wealthy citizens had parties. They look their best with Elizabethan type furniture. Perfect for low ceilings. Great for libraries and panelled rooms
