Item Description
Antique French mirror, circa 1890, with narrow, burnished gilt frame which has a partly rippled, partly woven design. Although the frame appears to be very bright gold, there is still hints of the terracotta bole showing through the gilding, where the mirror has been cleaned for more than a century. The mirror plate is in very good condition and this mirror would have once formed part of the decorative panelling in an important French house.
