Item Description
Classic antique French Louis-Philippe archtop mirror with etched gilt frame decorated with a partly geometric and partly floral and foliate design and with a beaded sight edge (edge closest to the glass). Where this mirror has been dusted for more than 150 years, the gilding has thinned a little revealing the terracotta bole beneath, which gives the mirror frame a warm glow. The original glass is in good condition with just a little light age and gives an excellent reflection. This mirror would make a lovely overmantel.
