Item Description
At first glance, this mirror doesn't appear to be anything special but, once you to start really looking at it, you can see how unusual and beautifully made it is. The clear, grey-green glass back is not only curved but is thicker in the centre, narrowing at each end. This piece of glass is also bevelled on all four edges but on the reverse side. The central mirror gently curves outwards along the top and bottom edges, incurves along the sides and has a narrow, bevelled edge. This mirror was almost certainly made by Italian manufacturer Fontana Arte, well known for their beautiful bathroom mirrors in the 1960s and '70s.
