Item Description
These large cushions are made from a vintage Yao minority wedding blanket. The blanket is handwoven in indigo and unbleached cotton on a narrow loom. several widths are sewn together to make the blanket and these cushions are made from 2 of the panels joined at the middle. The pattern is a pretty indigo check in a floating supplementary weft. I've backed the cushions with a vintage handwoven textile from East China in a lovely dark blue with a pinstripe. There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
