Item Description
These cushions are made from a tube skirt from Sumba, Indonesia. The skirt is hand woven in thick cotton using a weaving technique called pahikung using a decorative floating weft. The colours of the weave are a warm brown and butterscotch. The other colours are painted on afterwards. I've backed the cushions with a camel coloured heavy linen and there are zip fasteners and feather pads.
