Item Description
A substantial elegant fruitwood dining table. Four long seasoned timbers span the top of this beautiful table, now mellowed to the most gorgeous honey colour with a richly polished surface slowly developed over the past century. The solid cherrywood timbers are tightly closed and secured with cleated ends to ensure no unwanted gaps, there is a single drawer to one end with the bonus of a pull out bread slide to the other. The table has generous scale and will comfortably seat eight or a possible ten with the bread slide extended. Raised on neatly turned cherrywood legs to the correct height, perfect for comfortable entertaining. French fruitwood dining table circa 1880.
