Item Description
An early 19th century English mahogany chest of five drawers. The slim profile to this pretty chest of drawers makes it really quite unique. The height and width are on an average scale but the depth is unusually shallow making it perfect for a narrow hallway / bedside or where space maybe limited. The solid mahogany carcass is in superb original condition, it stands on four nicely turned feet, with two short drawers above three longer, all with the original turned wood handles and brass key escutcheons. The drawers are clean inside, fit perfectly and run with ease making it easy to place within the home. Narrow English mahogany chest of drawers. Circa 1840.
