Vintage original gouache on paper painting 'Vitra' by Richard Sladden.
Sladden (1933-2020) originally trained as an Architect at the RWA (Royal West of England Academy) he later moved into sculpture and then abstract painting always being influenced by modernist architecture.
He came into prominence in the 1960s with one-man shows at the New Vision Centre Gallery and Alwin Gallery in London and at Arnolfini Gallery, in Bristol, as well as showing with groups in MoMA, New York.
