An 18th-century French faience tureen from Rouen, decorated with an exquisite frieze of scrolls and criss-cross patterns with flowers in the Rococo taste. The body features an ample octagonal shape and two handles adorned with bow and ribbons. The lid showcases a similar frieze alongside four gorgeous flowers and ribbons and is finished with a playful knob. With a vibrant polychrome palette, this rare faience tureen is perfect to display on a table or in a dresser as an attractive decorative accent. Some chips to piedouche and wear the edges and handles.
